The City Council is prohibited by state law from discussing any item not posted on the agenda according to the Texas Open Meetings Act, but may take them under advisement. Issues raised may be referred to City Staff for research and possible future action.

E. Consent Agenda - All items listed on the consent agenda will be considered by the City Council and will be enacted on by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember or citizen so requests. » - 1. Approve moving the first regular City Council meeting in September to Tuesday, September 7, 2021. 2. Approve the minutes of the August 2, 2021, combined meeting. 3. Accept the 2021 certified tax rolls as approved by the Dallas and Collin Appraisal Districts. 4. Accept the Public Safety Quarantine Policy in accordance with Chapter 180.008 of the Local Government Code regarding paid quarantine leave for Public Safety personnel. 5. Accept the Mental Health Leave Policy in accordance with Chapter 614, Subchapter A-1 of the Local Government Code regarding mental health leave for Peace Officers. 6. Approve the Consent Agenda Items as presented.

5. Accept the Mental Health Leave Policy in accordance with Chapter 614, Subchapter A-1 of the Local Government Code regarding mental health leave for Peace Officers.

Consider an ordinance ordering a Bond Election to be held on November 2, 2021 for various street and road projects, and a municipal animal shelter. 4. Consider authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with Vector Concepts, Inc. in an amount not to exceed one hundred sixteen thousand, five hundred and twenty-eight dollars and zero cents ($116,528.00) to purchase and install damaged flooring at City Hall and the Sachse Public Library.
